American Association Player of the Week Brian Sprout singled home CF Scooter Jordan in the bottom of the 12th inning to give the Saints a big victory over the Pensacola Pelicans. With the win, St. Paul has now won eight games in a row and moves into second place in the North Division. Ben Thomas went 2-for-5 with a run scored and two RBI to lead the Saints at the plate. Thomas also smashed his second home run of the season. Jon Huizinga picked up the win in relief going two innings allowing two hits and a walk. Huizinga evens up his record at 1-1.

Coastal Bend at Fort Worth (Postponed - Rain)

The game was postponed due to rain. The game will made up as part of a doubleheader on Wednesday, June 27th beginning at 5:05 PM. Both games will consist of seven innings.

Lincoln 9, Sioux Falls 4

Lincoln brought the offense to the Birdcage tonight as the Saltdogs inched closer to the North Division first half title with a five-run win over the Sioux Falls Canaries. 1B Brett Cooley had a monster game at the dish going 3-for-5 with three runs scored and three RBI. Cooley also hit two home runs in the game, which brings his total to six on the season. Lincoln leadoff hitter Corey Harrington chipped in his third dinger of the year in a 3-for-6 effort with two RBI. Saltdogs starter Josh Kauten continues to have a solid season on the mound as Kauten went seven innings allowing two earned runs on seven hits with a walk and five strikeouts. He now runs his record to 5-0.

St. Joe 8, Sioux City 4

@ Sioux City, IA. Time: 2:55 Attendance: 1,853

HR: SJ-Paul Weichard (2)

LF Paul Weichard had a solid game at the plate in helping the Blacksnakes double up Sioux City. Weichard went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs scored and three RBI, including his second homer of the season. Eight of the nine St. Joe batters had at least one hit while six of them scored runs. Blacksnakes starter Andrew Edwards gets his first win of the year, going 5 2/3 innings giving up two runs, both earned, on seven hits with six punchouts. 2B Ramon Navarro had a 3-for-4 game for Sioux City in the losing cause.

El Paso 19, Shreveport 8

DH Juan Camacho was absolutely sensational for the Diablos tonight in leading them to a huge win over the Shreveport Sports. Camacho could not be stopped tonight as he went a perfect 6-for-6 at the plate with five runs scored and three runs driven in. This game was all about offense as both teams combined to score 27 runs on 38 hits. Josh Neitz pushed his record over the .500 mark to 4-3 with the victory going six innings allowing six earned runs on 14 hits with four strikeouts. For the Sports, LF JP Schmidt, C Justin Humphries, CF Deacon Burns and 2B Juan Ventura each had three hits on the night. With the win by El Paso, the magic number to clinch the South Division first half title now stands at three.
