The Sioux Falls Canaries score four runs in the fourth inning and hold on for a two-run victory over the Blacksnakes in game one of the doubleheader. 3B Matt Imwalle was a perfect 3-for-3 with a run scored and a RBI to lead the Canaries at the plate. Sioux Falls RF Wil Quintana also chipped with two hits in three at-bats and two runs scored. Canaries starter Jeff Landing went 5 1/3 innings allowing two earned runs on five hits with five strikeouts to notch his second win of the season. Jerrod Fuell gave up a solo home run to Blacksnakes RF Curt Miaso in the seventh inning but settled down to pickup his fourth save of the season.
