St. Paul jumped out to an 8-1 lead after just two innings and cruised to an 11-5 victory over St. Joe. LF Derrick White led the Saints at the plate, going 3-for-5 with a homerun and three RBI. 3B Pat Scalabrini chipped in two hits and an RBI for the St. Paul offense as well. Starting pitcher Charlie Ruud picked up the win, allowing just three runs on seven hits over seven innings of work. LF Cory Harris, DH Jake Whitesides and 1B Mark Burke each homered and combined to drive in all five of St. Joe's runs.

Sioux City 6, Pensacola 5

Sioux City scored three runs in the top of the ninth inning to erase a two run Pensacola lead and take a 6-5 victory over the Pelicans. Sioux City closer Sean Kramer pitched a scoreless bottom of the ninth to secure the win for the Explorers and record his 15th save. CF Zack Pace went 2-for-4 with two RBI to lead Sioux City at the plate and C Chris Grossman hit his 13th homerun of the season. Pensacola 3B Trino Aguilar had a huge night offensively, going 3-for-5 with a homerun and driving in all five of the Pelicans' runs.

Shreveport 11, Coastal Bend 2

Shreveport had six different batters get at least two hits and pounded out 16 all together to rout Coastal Bend 11-2. CF Coby Smith led the way for the Sports at the plate, going 4-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored. 1B Justin Humphries and LF Todd Self each homered in the game, their sixth and seventh of the season respectively. Starting pitcher Erik Wikstrom was as impressive as the offense, giving up just two runs on seven hits over six innings of work. With the win, Wikstrom improves to 11-3. For Coastal Bend, DH/1B Pat O'Sullivan went 2-for-4 with an RBI.

Fort Worth 14, El Paso 5

Fort Worth exploded for eight runs in the fifth inning to blow the game open and pick up a 14-5 victory over El Paso. SS Marc Mirizzi had a big night at the plate, with four hits, a homerun and three RBI. The homerun was his ninth of the season. 3B Terence Green added two hits and three RBI of his own to a Cats offense which had 14 hits in the game. Starting pitcher Ryan Weems picked up his third win of the year, allowing just two runs over six innings of work. RF/LF Logan Wood had two hits, an RBI and scored a run for the Diablos.
