Amarillo 5, St. Paul 4
The Amarillo Sox bounced back from Saturday's extra inning loss to beat the St. Paul Saints 5-4 and take the series two games to one. The Saints took the lead in the first inning when SS Adam Frost scored on a double from 1B Ole Sheldon. That was the first of two runs in the game for Frost who also had a team-high two hits. Amarillo tied the score in the fourth on a home run from 1B Tim Alberts but it wasn't until the sixth inning that the Sox took the lead. Trailing 4-2, the Sox put together a three-run rally capped off by a RBI double from CF Harrison Kain. Sox LF Mitch Abeita was the only Amarillo batter to have a multi-hit game as he went 2-for-4 with an RBI. Amarillo P Cliff Springston earned the win despite allowing four runs and seven hits in 5.2 innings.
