AMARILLO, TX - The Amarillo Bulls suffered two heartbreaking losses 5-3 and 3-1 at the hands of the Wichita Falls Wildcats over the weekend. The same two teams will meet for a third time on Wednesday at Kay Yeager Coliseum in Wichita Falls at 7 pm. The Bulls will then have an off weekend before returning at home to host the Topeka RoadRunners on March 11 and 12.

THE WEEK AHEAD:

RADIO SHOW TONIGHT: Defenseman Jeff Solow and forward Coale Norris join Denis J. Puska tonight at 6 for the Amarillo Bulls Radio Show. Fans can drop by Seven Bar and Grill located on Soncy Road to listen to the show live in person as well as register to win a Pucky the Piggy Bank. The Amarillo Bulls Radio Show airs live on CBS Sports Radio 1440 and online at www.amarillobulls.com.

MID-WEEK HOCKEY: For the third time in five days the Amarillo Bulls visit Wichita Falls to meet the Wildcats. Fans can tune in live on CBS Sports Radio 1440, online at www.amarillobulls.com and on PPV with Fast Hockey beginning at 6:40 pm. The puck drop follows at 7 pm.

COMMUNITY OUT-REACH: The Amarillo Bulls will be busy with a number of community appearances this week beginning with back-to-back visits to Tradewind Elementary School for the Hockey For Health and Reading Programs. On Saturday and Sunday, players will be attending the Make-A-Wish Car Show and the Snack Pack For Kids Garden Party.

ALUMNI GOALIE NOMINATED FOR MIKE RICHTER AWARD: Goaltender Paul Berrafato who posted a shutout for the Amarillo Bulls in their 2013 Robertson Cup National Championship has been nominated for the 2016 Mike Richter Award as the top goaltender in the NCAA. Berrafato, who is a sophomore at Holy Cross, has 17 wins this season.

WEEKEND REWIND:

WICHITA FALLS WILDCATS 5 - AMARILLO BULLS 3: The Wildcats built a 3-0 second period lead only to see the Bulls rally twice to within one goal at 3-2 and 4-3. George Mika, Coale Norris and Joey Molinaro netted goals for the Bulls and goaltender Brian Baker took the loss in goal.

WICHITA FALLS 3 - AMARILLO BULLS 1: Coale Norris scored the lone goal for the Bulls in the second period on the power play but it wasn't enough. The Bulls had 34 shots on goal including 15 in the second period alone. Anton Martinsson stopped 34 of 36 shots and was tagged with the loss.
