Altitude Host Triple Header

Asheville, N.C., December 5, 2003 - Join the Asheville Altitude on Tuesday, December 9 as they host their second triple-header of the season, featuring Asheville and T.C. Roberson High School girls and boys' basketball teams in pre-game match-ups followed by exciting NBDL basketball as the Altitude take on the Columbus Riverdragons beginning at 5:00 PM at the Asheville Civic Center.

"The Asheville-Roberson High School rivalry is such a big and thrilling event in our community," said Alfred White, team president. "We are glad to open up the doors of the Civic Center and invite the community to be a part of an exciting evening of basketball action."

The triple-header features three-games for the price of one, beginning with the girls' match-up highlights the NC 2003 3-A Girls' State Champions, the Asheville Cougars and stand-out Rashanda McCants, who verbally committed to UNC-Chapel Hill a few weeks ago. The boy's game will get under way 10 minutes following the completion of the girl's contest.

The final game, featuring the Altitude and Riverdragons, originally scheduled to begin at 8:00 PM, will now tip off 30-minutes following the conclusion of the Asheville-Roberson boy's match-up.

Fans can purchase tickets for all three games by calling the Asheville Altitude at (828) 782-1000 or visiting the Altitude or Civic Center Box or online at Ticketmaster.com. Tickets are still available in the upper and lower bowl seating sections for $7 and $35 for floor seating. Discounts are available for groups of 15 or more and children under 3.

Altitude season tickets are still available and offer numerous options for all entertainment needs. Currently fans may purchase full, partial, flex, mini or group packages.
