
Altitude Host Faith and Family Night

ASHEVILLE, N.C., March 23, 2005 - The Asheville Altitude and Crossfire Ministries will join forces to host Faith and Family Night on Good Friday, March 25 at the Asheville Civic Center beginning at 7:30 p.m. The game is highlighted by a Christian atmosphere featuring a concert by the gospel band Malachi and a post-game rally by Crossfire Minister's Randy Shepherd and Jamie Johnson of Asheville.
The evening, which presents exciting National Basketball Development League (NBDL) basketball action as the Altitude host the Columbus Riverdragons, will also offer an added element to the religious event as alcoholic beverages will not be sold in observance of the occasion.
"We are pleased to host Faith and Family Night as we present a faith-oriented atmosphere for fans, supporters and especially our religious community members to enjoy," said Rudy Bourg, team president. "We thoroughly understand the importance of family and faith in our community and are delighted to provide an alcohol free night as an added bonus to the evening."
All tickets for the game, with the exception of floor seats, will be sold for $9 upper bowl seating and $16.50 for seats in the lower bowl section. Admission to the rally, hosted by Crossfire Ministries, is included in each game ticket. The game will also feature in-game presentations highlighted with Christian music and testimonies and $1000 in gifts and sporting goods will be distributed throughout the game.
