Altitude Begin the Sale of Individual Single Game Tickets

NBDL defending champion Asheville Altitude will begin the sale of individual game tickets, Wednesday, November 18, at 10:00 a.m. providing fans their first opportunity to purchase single game tickets for the 2004-05 season.

"We are very excited to get the 2004-05 season started on Sunday and we?re extremely anxious to defend the NBDL Championship, " said team president Rudy Bourg.

Tickets are conveniently available at various outlets including, the Asheville Civic Center Box office, Ticketmaster outlets, and online at www.ticketmaster.com.

Altitude season tickets are currently on sale and offer numerous options for all entertainment needs. Fans can purchase season ticket packages for home games by calling the Altitude at (828)782-1000. Single game price ranges are $16 for lower bowl and $9.50 for upper bowl seating. Discounts are available for groups of 15 or more and children. Currently fans may purchase full, partial, flex, mini or group packages.

The Altitude opens the 2004-05 regular season at Fayetteville, Nov. 20, followed by the regular-season home opener against the Huntsville Flight, Nov. 21 at 5:00 p.m. at the Asheville Civic Center.

The NBDL, the NBA?s minor league, includes the Fayetteville Patriots (N.C.), Florida Flame (Ft. Myers), Huntsville Flight (Ala.), Roanoke Dazzle (Va.), Columbus Riverdragons (Ga.) and Asheville Altitude (N.C.).

The league offers players the opportunity to develop their talent in a highly competitive atmosphere under the NBA?s umbrella. Twenty-eight (28) players have been callup up to the NBA on 39 separate occasions. Nine former NBDL coaches, five athletic trainers, 11 referees and 29 front office executives have also been called up since the start of the league?s inaugural season in November 2001.

Designed to help grow the sort of basketball both domestically and internationally, the league also offers fun, family entertainment at affordable prices. The NBDL is a source of on-court talent for the NBA?s 30 teams and is a diverse human resource pool for the NBA and its teams by training employees in management, operations, public relations, sales and marketing positions.
