Allison Strekal Named Reno Bighorns President of Business Operations

Reno, NV., April 4, 2014 - The Reno Bighorns are excited to announce Allison Strekal as the new President of Business Operations.

Strekal was previously with the Bighorns for three seasons from 2010 - 2013, serving in various positions, including Account Executive, Media and Community Relations Manager and Director of Marketing and Communications.

"The Bighorns Family welcomes back Allison Strekal as its new President of Business Operations," said Reno Bighorns owner, Herb Santos, Jr. "Allison has been with us for several seasons and has excelled at every position she has held. She is an incredible asset and I know that she will bring all her experience, dedication and love for the Bighorns to the table to help the organization grow and exceed all expectations. We also wish the best to our former President Shayne Donohue who resigned from the Bighorns last week to explore other opportunities in professional sports."

Originally from Winnemucca, Nevada, Strekal graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in May 2010 with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism.

"I am so excited for the opportunity to lead the Bighorns moving forward," said Strekal. "The Bighorns offer an amazing family-friendly product and I can't wait to get our message out to Reno and the surrounding areas."

Strekal currently serves on the board of the American Advertising Federation's Reno Chapter as the Public Relations Chair.
