
All Goes Wright for Skeeters in 5-2 Win

Sugar Land Space Cowboys News Release
The Skeeters won 5-2 on Saturday Night in game two of their four game series against the Lancaster Barnstormers. With the win Sugar Land now improves to an amazing 29-6 overall and have won seven of their last eight games. Travis Scott drove in two of the first three runs, to put Sugar Land up 3-0. It became a one-run game though when former Astro Daryle Ward hit a two-run shot for Lancaster, to make it 3-2 in the seventh. The Skeeters tacked on two of their own in the eighth, on an Aaron Bates two-run double and go on to win by that 5-2 final.
Matt Wright move to 5-0 with another great start and the great Skeeters bullpen took over again. Aaron Bates also has now reached base safely in 23 straight games.
Up Next: In Game 3 of this four game series, Sugar Land sends out RHP Scott Elarton (3-2, 3.64) against LHP Horacio Ramirez (0-0, 2.70) for the Barnstormers.
