All Available Lower Level Tickets For The Monarchs 2009 Preseason Game To Cost Just $10

SACRAMENTO, CALIF., March 11, 2009 - The Monarchs today announced that all available lower level tickets for the Monarchs only preseason home game of the 2009 season, the Monarchs School Day Game, will cost just $10. The game will take place on Wednesday, May 27, at 11 a.m. versus the Phoenix Mercury.

The first annual Monarchs School Day game provides schools with a unique field trip opportunity to conclude the school year. Each class and student may prepare for the game by utilizing the complimentary 2009 Monarchs School Day Playbook available at SacramentoMonachs.com. The 2009 Monarchs School Day Playbook turns the excitement of Monarchs basketball into an educational experience by showing students how the sport of basketball relates to almost every subject they are studying in school.

"We are excited to tip-off our 2009 Monarchs season with the new School Day Game," said Danette Leighton, vice president of Monarchs business operations. "This game provides a unique opportunity for schools and children to combine entertainment and education, both inside and out of the classroom."

The Monarchs will also have one preseason game on the road on Thursday, May 21, against the Seattle Storm, at 7 p.m., at KeyArena.
