
Alex Lamontagne suspended three games

BOUCHERVILLE, Wednesday, November 2, 2005 (QMJHL) - The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's disciplinary committee imposed a three game suspension today to Acadie-Bathurst defenseman Alex Lamontagne.
The suspension follows an incident that occurred on Sunday, October 30, in a contest opposing the Fog Devils to the Titan, in which Mr. Lamontagne was caught assaulting Matt Boland.
Before rendering their decision, the disciplinary committee reviewed the video sequence of the incident and consulted all concerned parties. The suspension is in effect as of today.
In accordance with the QMJHL's policy in the matter of disciplinary sanctions, the disciplinary committee will not be available for further comment.
