Alex de Goti Ends Space Cowboys' Homestand With Walk-off HR

(SUGAR LAND, Texas) - The Sugar Land Space Cowboys entered their six-game series against Tacoma without a walk-off home run this season.
They will hit the road with two of them, as Alex De Goti delivered a walk-off solo home run to give the Space Cowboys a 3-2 win over the Rainiers on Sunday night at Constellation Field.
De Goti's walk-off shot to left-center was his seventh home run of the year. He put the Space Cowboys up 2-0 back in the second inning on an RBI single. David Hensley, who hit a walk-off three run homer in Tuesday's win, added an RBI double in the two-run second.
Chad Donato allowed just one run and three hits across six innings of work, striking out four. Joe Record received the winning decision, navigating a scoreless 2/3 of an inning to send the game into the bottom of the ninth all tied.
Tacoma scored in the fifth on an RBI triple from Alex Blandino and in the eighth on a sacrifice fly from Marcus Wilson.
The Space Cowboys went 4-2 in their series against Tacoma, marking their best six-game homestand of the season. They have won 11 of their last 15 games.
Following an off day, the Space Cowboys will begin a six-game road series against the Albuquerque Isotopes at 7:35 p.m. on Tuesday.
