
Albany Patroons lose third straight home game, Great Falls wins 105-100

The Albany Patroons were not able to stop a midseason losing skid, dropping their third straight home game 105-100 to the Great Falls Explorers. The Explorers took 5 1/2 of a possible 7 quarterpoints in the victory.
Albany was led in scoring by Amal McCaskill, who scored 29 points and 19 rebounds on the night. Nat Burton added 19 points, and Lucious Jordan scored 18. The Patroons' did have a major highlight at the end of the third quarter, when with milliseconds left on the clock, Jamaal Miller launched a 65-foot prayer that ricocheted off the backboard and went through the net for a buzzer-beating 3-pointer.
The Explorers were led by Nate Green, who notched a double-double of 28 points and 11 rebounds. Marlyn Bryant added 19 points; newly-signed Jason Clark had 11 rebounds in the Explorers victory.
Albany will host Great Falls Friday night, January 11 at the Washington Avenue Armory, with tip-off at 7:30 p.m.
