Albany FireWolves News Release

ALBANY, NEW YORK - The Albany FireWolves, the Capital Region's Indoor Lacrosse team playing out of the Times Union Center beginning in December, today announce that their recently launched Junior FireWolves program will be presented by Precision Lacrosse.

The Junior FireWolves program is one of several programs within the Albany FireWolves Training Academy. Specifically, the Junior FireWolves is a lacrosse instructional platform taught and coached by players and coaches of the FireWolves National Lacrosse League team and is open to all levels of skill and experience for both boys and girls. Programs will begin this June and will run year-round with a particular focus on the summer and winter.

"As we prepare to grow the sport of box lacrosse in the Capital Region, I could not be more pleased to announce this partnership with Precision Lacrosse and our Junior FireWolves program," said George Manias, President of the Albany FireWolves. "The goal of the Junior FireWolves program is to teach and develop young lacrosse players through our professional athletes and coaches. This partnership also allows us to integrate a great local lacrosse retail outlet for our participants to get all their equipment needs. A one-stop shop! In addition, Precision Lacrosse will carry a full line of FireWolves merchandise, which will help make it easier for our fans to get our gear. With partners like Precision Lacrosse and Gait Lacrosse, our Training Academy partner, we are able to offer our youth program participants and their families a reliable and local turnkey option for equipment, gear and merchandise."

Opening last fall, Precision Lacrosse offers an unparalleled lacrosse shopping experience to players of all ages. Based out of Latham, New York, the company was founded by lacrosse players who want to create a unique experience and give players a destination to get the right gear to play their best, while helping to grow the game altogether.

"Precision Lacrosse is proud to partner with the Albany FireWolves. As the Capital Region's newest and only true destination for lacrosse gear and apparel, we are thrilled to be a part of welcoming professional indoor lacrosse back to Albany. The fact that the National Lacrosse League chose Albany to be the home of its newest franchise is a testament to the quality of the area's lacrosse programs, players and coaches at all levels. Helping to grow the game of lacrosse is core to the Precision Lacrosse mission so we are really excited about our involvement as the Presenting Sponsor of the Junior FireWolves program, giving even more players an opportunity to play indoor lacrosse," said David Hannoush and Craig Devoe, Co-Founders of Precision Lacrosse in a prepared statement.
