Albany FireWolves Sign Team's Final Pick of 2023 Draft

The Albany FireWolves of the National Lacrosse League (NLL), today announce that the team has signed Grant Ammann, pending league approval.

Ammann was the sixth player taken by the FireWolves in the 2023 NLL Entry Draft and was selected with the first pick in the sixth round. A defenseman, Ammann played for four years at High Point University. In 2023, he was named A10 First Team All-Conference, USILA All-American Honorable Mention, USILA Academic All-American, and Defense Player of the Week twice. Following his time at High Point University, Ammann was selected 25th overall in the PLL College Draft by the Cannons LC.
