The Albany Empire proudly announce today an addition to their local ownership group with the official agreement to bring on Steve and Charlotte von Schiller as minority owners. The von Schillers join the Empire with years' worth of experience in their local communities and an excitement to help continue the success of the Empire for years to come.
"Over the past few decades, we have served as organizational leaders in our respective careers, and we look forward to contributing to the Albany Empire's ongoing success on and off the field. We are thrilled to be a member of this team and this community!" Said, Steve and Charlotte
Steve and Charlotte are highly active in their community as well as in their son's football, supporting the Jr Plainsmen Program in Clifton Park, Christian Brothers Academy Football in Colonie, and Afrims Sports Flag Football Program. Additionally, the Von Schillers are leaders in their community being active in organizations such as the Living Hope Church, Operation Christmas Child, Saratoga Springs City School District, local chapters of the Girl and Boy Scouts, as well as various other organizations.

Now I look forward to getting more local ownership involved and this starts with the addition of Steve and Charlotte. The Albany Empire kick off their 2023 season on Saturday, April 8th against the West Texas Warbirds in the Ector County Coliseum. Albany will host the Columbus Lions on Sunday, April 16th for their 2023 Home Opener at MVP Arena.
