Albany, NY: The Albany Empire announced today that the team has signed Wide Receiver/Defensive Back, Daquan Patten for the 2023 National Arena League season. Patten played collegiately at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC. During his time at Western Carolina, Patten appeared in 43 games recording 103 receptions for 1,247 yards and 8 touchdowns. Patten comes from a lineage of football success, his late father David Patten played in the arena game with the Albany Firebirds of the AFL during the 1996 season before beginning his twelve-year career in the National Football League.
