Milwaukee edged Quad City in a shootout, 3-2... On Monday, Troy Milam scored both of Manchester's goals in a 2-1 overtime victory at Springfield.

LOOKING AHEAD:

Tied for second place in the East Division with 63 points apiece, Hershey visits Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Wednesday for the teams' eighth meeting of the season... Hershey's Chris Bourque has recorded 10 of his 36 points this season against the Penguins (5-5-10), including five goals and seven points in three games at the Wachovia Arena... Two-time AHL All-Star Joe Motzko of the Bears has recorded multiple points in five straight games (5-6-11)... Defenseman Josef Boumedienne boasts a 13-game scoring streak (1-17-18) for Hershey... The Bears' power play is 8-for-33 (24.2 percent) against the Penguins, and their penalty kill has converted at 91.7% (33-of-36)... Penguins forward Kurtis McLean has a team-high 16 goals, including three against the Bears (3-2-5)... Goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury is 2-1-0 with a 1.35 GAA and .957 save percentage in three conditioning starts for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

Also Wednesday, Manitoba makes its second trip of the month to the Allstate Arena to take on Chicago, which has won seven straight games... The Wolves blanked the Moose by a 2-0 final on Feb. 10 in the teams' only previous meeting this season... Chicago's Jason Krog continues to lead the AHL in scoring with 74 points (24-50-74), while teammate Brett Sterling's 28 goals are tied for the league lead... Sterling has lit the lamp in three straight games (4-2-6), scoring the game-winning goal in all three contests... Chicago also boasts the AHL's leading goal-scorer among defensemen in Joel Kwiatkowski (17-23-40), who has notched 13 of his 17 tallies on the power play... Chicago rookie goaltender Ondrej Pavelec has won six straight games, posting a 1.17 GAA over that span... Manitoba leading scorer Brad Moran has recorded nine points (2-7-9) in his last four games... Second-year pro Jannik Hansen sports a goal in three straight games (4-2-6) and a point in four straight (4-3-7).

Milwaukee, 4-0-1-0 in its last five contests, travels to face Iowa in a West Division battle on Thursday... The Admirals' run has lifted them two points ahead of Quad City for fifth place and a potential playoff spot, while the Stars sit just seven points back of Milwaukee despite ranking eighth in the division... Admirals center Cal O'Reilly has a point in five straight games (4-8-12) and 14 of his last 15 outings (6-22-28)... Rich Peverley has tallied 38 points (9-29-38) in 37 games for the Ads this season and also boasts six points in 21 NHL games for Nashville... Peverley has a team-high seven points (3-4-7) in five games against the Stars... Milwaukee's Matt Ellison has a goal in three straight contests (4-1-5) and a point in five straight (4-3-7)... Toby Petersen paces the Stars with 18 goals and 45 points but has just two goals in his last 21 outings... Iowa goaltender Tobias Stephan has notched three shutouts and a 2.03 GAA in eight February appearances (4-4-0).

Also Tuesday, 1999 AHL outstanding goaltender Martin Biron made 33 saves as Philadelphia edged Ottawa in a shootout, 3-2... On Monday, 2008 AHL All-Star Mike Iggulden made his NHL debut in San Jose's 3-2 loss at the N.Y. Islanders... 2006 AHL All-Star Valtteri Filppula notched a goal in Detroit's 4-0 win at Colorado.
