AG Rugby pulls a full five points ahead in the Western Conference standings with a 57-3 win over the Dallas Jackals. It's the AG's third consecutive bonus point win.
The AGs took an early lead from an unpredictable maul try from flyhalf Will Magie, then just minutes later Namatahi Waa bulldozed his way over the line to give the AGs a 14-3 lead. Then came two tries in three minutes from MLR debutant Payton Telea-Ilalio to extend the lead to 26-3.
Mark O'Keeffe earned Man of the Match honors with two tries of his own and a flurry of long runs and brilliant attacking play. O'Keeffe's two tries puts him atop the league leaderboard in tries.
The AGs struggled to maintain discipline and execution for a 15 minute stretch in the second half before regaining their standard of play and finishing the match with a 57-3 win.
Next weekend the AGs head to NOLA, looking to finish off a three match road trip 3-0 before returning home for a May 1st match with Seattle.
