The SaberCats now own a 36-4 record in games where they score 60-or-more points. San Jose is also the only team in the league to crack the 50-point mark in every game this season and leads the league with a scoring average of 60.3 PPG.

AND WE QUOTE: "For some reason the schedule makers must have felt that every team in the league needed two weeks to prepare for us."-- Orlando Predators head coach JAY GRUDEN after realizing that when this week's game with New Orleans is included, it will mark the fourth time this season his team will be playing an opponent following their "bye" week.
STAPLING HIS MARK IN L.A.: Powering the Avengers to an 81-70 victory, OS CHRIS JACKSON tallied seven touchdowns and also tacked on a two-point conversion catch for good measure. Jackson finished with 11 receptions, 210 receiving yards and 44 points. Even by his lofty standards, this performance was one for the ages. Jackson, who is also the reigning AFL "Offensive Player of the Year," broke his own team records with the seven touchdowns and 44 points. (The point total also ties him with KOBE BRYANT [Lakers at Clippers, Jan. 4] and QUENTIN RICHARDSON [Clippers vs. Denver, Dec. 31] for most points scored at STAPLES Center this season.)
HOHENSEE LOOKING FOR 80: Chicago Rush head coach MIKE HOHENSEE is just one win away from becoming only the fourth head coach in AFL history to win 80 career games. If Hohensee plans to get number 80 this weekend, he will have to defeat the league's all-time winningest coach, TIM MARCUM on Sunday at 3 p.m. ET on NBC. Hohensee, in his 11th season as a head coach in the AFL, was hired as the first coach in Rush history on September 26, 2000.

HOME COOKIN': When you come to a Crush game don't plan on leaving early. While the team is off to a 4-1 start at Pepsi Center, the five games have been decided by a grand total of 15 points. In fact, the Crush scored two touchdowns in the final 12 seconds to escape with a 43-42 win in the season opener over Las Vegas. They also staved off a late Detroit comeback when they stopped the Fury's potential game-winning two-point conversion attempt to secure a 62-61 win. Their only loss was a 45-42 loss to Indiana in overtime.
McMILLEN APPROACHING 1,000: Chicago Rush FB/LB BOB McMILLEN, who currently is fourth in the AFL in rushing, needs just two more yards to become the fifth player in AFL history to rush for 1,000 career yards. McMillen, with 134 yards this year, has set a Rush record for rushing yards in a season, breaking JAMIE McGOURTY's team record of 122 yards set last year. In addition, McMillen has 52 career rushing touchdowns, which ranks him 6th on the AFL's all-time list. Earlier this season, McMillen became the first player in AFL history to rush for 100 or more yards in six-consecutive seasons.
LEADER OF THE SACK: Arizona Rattlers OL/DL BRYAN HENDERSON is tied for first in the AFL with 5.0 quarterback sacks. Henderson has now sacked his way to the second-highest total for sacks in a season in franchise history. With one more, Henderson will tie STACEY EVANS and ANDY COVIELLO for the Rattlers single season record (6.0). Henderson is 3.0 sacks away from the Rattlers career record, held by Evans (11.0).
