7/29/2011:Arizona defeated Spokane 62-33 to advance to the National Conference Championship game. Spokane QB Kyle Rowley was 25-for-33 with 210 yards and Rattlers QB Nick Davila went 15-for-24 with 167 yards. Marquis Floyd also had a 50 yard interception return for an Arizona TD.

SHOCK: Last week the Shock suffered a loss against San Jose losing 35-69...In Week 2 the Shock defeated San Antonio and in Week 1 lost to Iowa in overtime...The Shock are fourth in the League in rushing with 87 yards and first in the League in kickoff returns tallying 567 yards on 25 returns and third in the League in kick return average...The Shock are now 0-2 at home for the second straight year and the second time in franchise history...QB ADAM FROMAN leads the Shock in passing with 48 completions for 459 yards and 8 TDs...He is ranked first in the League in rushing yards with 85 yards and 4 TDs and is the top rushing QB in the AFL... In Week 4 he tied the franchise record for rushing TDs in a game for the second time this season with two scores on the ground...WR BRANDON THOMPKINS leads the team in receptions with 22 for 235 yards and 6 TDs... WR ADRON TENNELL is the second ranked receiver on the Shock tallying 21 catches for 235 yards and 6 TDs ...DL TERRANCE SANDERS leads the team and is ranked second in the League in total tackles with 26.5 total ...He has 480 kick return yards this season and last week set a franchise record with 196 kick return yards in a single game...He has two FG returns for 67 yards and one TD...He ranks third in the League in all purpose yards per game with 182.3...He has tallied three forced fumbles this season tying him for first in the League...DB PAT STOUDAMIRE is tied for fourth in the League in passes defended per game with 2 pass break ups and 2 interceptions...K KENNY SPENCER is 0 for 1 in FGs but is currently first in the League with a perfect PAT kicking percentage after making all 23 of his attempts...DL JEREMY GEATHERS has three sacks for 20 yards and is ranked fourth in the League in sacks per game RATTLERS: Last week Arizona beat Kansas City 56-28 tallying their second win this season and had their first in Week 2 against Milwaukee in the Mustang's home opener...In Week 1 the Rattlers lost in overtime to San Jose...They are ranked third in scoring offense with 197 points and first in the League for pass offense with 336.7 yards per game...Arizona is second in the League in total offense tallying 1061 total yards...QB NICK DAVILA is 75-of-105 with 1008 yards passing...He is first in the League in pass efficiency with 137.2 and third in total offense with 336.3 yards per game...In Week 4 Davila passed Brett Dietz on the AFL's list of career passing touchdown leaders...His seven TD passes against Kansas City gave him 241 for his career and the 23rd highest total in League history..He now trails John Fitzgerald the 22nd highest total by eight TDs...Last week he bumped his career completion percentage up from 69.2 to 69.3 which is the second- highest completion percentage in AFL history he trails Chris Greisen who has the top spot with 69.9... FB ODIE ARMSTRONG leads the team in rushing with 50 yards and 4 TDs placing him at fifth in the League with 16.7 yards per game ...In Week 4 he reached the 200-rush milestone after rushing six times in his last game putting him now at 204 rushes for his career...Armstrong is five rushing yards shy of sliding into 14th place all-time on the League's list of career rushing yardage leaders..WR MAURICE PURIFY is the Rattlers leading receiver with 27 catches for 388 yards...His 129.3 receiving yards per game earns him the fifth spot in the League...He is ranked fourth in the League for scoring with 22 points per game...Purify has recorded at least three touchdown receptions in every game this season...K CHRIS GOULD is 19/22 for PATs this season...He is first in the League in FGs...DB MARQUIS FLOYD leads the team and is ranked fourth in the League in tackles with 24.5 total...He has recorded one forced fumble and three pass breakups this season...He currently has 13 career forced fumbles tying him for the 13th -most in AFL history he trails Clarence Lawson who has 14 for his career. TALONS: The Talons tallied their second win of the season last week against Orlando defeating the Predators 47-34...In Week 2 they lost to the Spokane Shock by three points and in Week 1 deafeated the Utah Blaze...The Talons rank fourth in the League in scoring defense with 48.3 points per game...They are fourth in the League in passing, averaging 315 yards per game and fifth in passing yards with 945 ...QB AARON GARCIA 74-of-120 passing for 969 yards and 20 TDs...The veteran QB is fourth in the League with 323 yards per game and fifth in total offense with 976 total yards...WR JASON WILLIS has tallied 26 catches for 305 yards and 6 TDs...DB KEN FONTENETTE has recorded three interceptions, four pass break ups, 13 total tackles and one forced fumble this season...DB FRED SHAW leads the team in tackles with 20...He tallied two interceptions and one forced fumble this season...In Week 4 he broke his own franchise record after notching 7.5 tackles...K MARC DEMOS is 15/21 in PATs and has yet to kick a FG...WR CARL MOORE has 22 catches for 332 yards and 8 TDs...In Week 4 he set a new franchise record for receiving touchdowns in game after he tallied four...He also set the new franchise record for points scored in a single game after accumulating 24 against Orlando...WR JOMO WILSON has 18 catches for 271 yards and has tallied 70 yards on kick returns...He is ranked third in the League in receiving yards per game with 135.5 and fifth in the League in all-purpose yards per game with 171.5 ...DL MARK WEIVODA recorded 1.5 sacks in Week 4 setting a new franchise record...SABERCATS: Last week the SaberCats defeated the Shock 69-35 earning them their second win of the season...In Week 3 San Jose fell to Utah and in Week 1 defeated Arizona in overtime...The SaberCats rank second in the League in scoring offense per game with 66.5 points per game and third in pass offense with 331.3 yards per game...QB MARK GRIEB leads the team in passing with 84 completions for 993 yards and 21 TDs...He is ranked third in the League in passing yards per game with 331 and third in total offensive yards with 1011 yards... 6/4/11: Chicago won 58-30.Rush DB Vic Hall had three interceptions in the game, including one he ran back for a touchdown. Chicago's Russ Michna completed 20 of 28 passes for 24 yards. Kansas City only scored seven points in the final quarter while the Rush exploded for 28 points in the fourth quarter.

4/22/11: Kansas City won, 58-51. The Rush committed costly turnovers that lead to their first divisional loss of the season at that point. Command QB Raterink threw for five touchdowns and was 27 for 36 with 286 yards in the game. Rush QB Michna was 15 for 26 and totaled 163 yards with four touchdowns. The Rush offense had a season-low 191 yards
