Corpus Christi IceRays News Release
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - With the recent injuries and suspensions that were handed out yesterday, the IceRays have brought in Yanick Lacombe, a forward for the SoCal Titans U18 squad to play this weekend in Wichita Falls.
Lacombe attended the IceRays Main Camp this summer and is coached by Scott Yorkinson and Luc Beausoleil, who are both scouts for Corpus Christi. Even with the addition of Lacombe to the lineup, since he is on the IceRays affiliate list he will not count against the roster this weekend.
"With injuries and suspensions, we had the perfect opportunity to bring Yanick for the weekend," said head coach Justin Quenneville. "He has been playing great hockey under Scotty and Luc, and we are glad to have a great working relationship with the Titans where the can loan us a top player for the weekend."
The IceRays are in action tomorrow night against the Wichita Falls Wildcats. Puck drops at 7:05PM, coverage begins at 6:50PM with the IceRays Pregame Show on ESPN Radio 1440AM, espncorpus.com, and fasthockey.com.
