af2's Carolina Rhinos Get First Look at Home Field

GREENVILLE, SC – The League office of arenafootball2 and the Carolina Rhinos have announced the playing field at the BI-LO Center, the team's home arena in downtown Greenville, will be installed beginning tomorrow morning. The team will take to its home field for the first time this season tomorrow night.

The Rhinos are scheduled to practice in the BI-LO Center Tuesday and Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Thursday's practice location is to be determined. This week's practice schedule is as follows:

Monday April 15th at Carolina High School, 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Tuesday April 16th at the BI-LO Center, 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Wednesday April 17th at the BI-LO Center, 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Thursday April 18th location to be determined, 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

All Rhinos practices are open to the public free of charge and members of the media are invited to attend. Coaches and players will be available for interviews until 6:15 p.m. and immediately after practice.

The Rhinos will play their first home game of the 2002 season this Friday, April the 19th, at 7:30 p.m. versus the Macon Knights. The Knights beat the Rhinos in the season's first game for both teams 54-18 in Macon on April 6th.

2002 Rhinos individual game tickets are on sale and can be purchased in person at the BI-LO Center box office from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday or during an event. Tickets can also be purchased over the phone by calling either 864-233-2525 or 864-576-1550 and online at ticketmaster.com.
