af2 to be featured on AFL on NBC Wendy's Halftime Show

CHICAGO - With af2's Fifth Anniversary season underway this weekend, a special feature is scheduled to air during the AFL on NBC Wendy's Halftime Show this Sunday, the league office announced today.

Featuring interviews with current and former af2 players and key league staff, the piece will also show various highlights from af2's first four seasons. The AFL on NBC coverage begins at 3:00 p.m. ET this Sunday. This week's slate of games includes: Philadelphia at Dallas, San Jose at Tampa Bay and New York at Carolina. Check local listings for the game airing your market.

Week 1 of the af2 season features six games this Saturday night. They are as follows:

Peoria at Wichita 8:00 p.m.
San Diego at Arkansas 8:00 p.m.
Manchester at Quad City 8:30 p.m.
Laredo at Rio Grande Valley 8:30 p.m.
Bakersfield at Tennessee Valley 8:30 p.m.
Oklahoma City at Tulsa 8:30 p.m.
All times Eastern.
