Aeros announce premium nights

Houston, Texas – The Houston Aeros have announced their premium dates for the 2004-05 season. The team has scheduled a giveaway on 23 of its 40 nights, including five in January. The schedule kicks off with 4,000 Opening Night Pucks on Saturday, Oct. 16 at 7:35 p.m. The commemorative red pucks include the Aeros logo, Cincinnati Mighty Ducks logo and date.

Also in October, designated "Hockey Month", the Aeros will give away 4,000 magnetic schedules on Friday, Oct. 22; 3,000 mini-sticks on Saturday, Oct. 23 and 3,000 team photos on Sunday, Oct. 24. Each of the team's four October games has a giveaway attached.

November, "Thanksgiving Fun Month", includes 3,000 chef aprons on Sunday, Nov. 14 and a special cash and prizes "Day after Thanksgiving" promotion Friday, Nov. 26.

December is "Santa Madness Month", with three Christmas-themed giveaways. The Aeros will have 3,000 holiday ornaments Friday, Dec. 3; 3,000 Santa hats Thursday, Dec. 16 and 3,000 Santa Bobblehead Dolls Saturday, Dec. 18.

January is "Kids Month". There will be 3,000 hockey flip books (available to kids 14 and under) Sunday, Jan. 9; 3,000 Bobbleheads (TBA) Friday, Jan. 14; 3,000 baseball caps Saturday, Jan. 22; 4,000 pom-poms (kids 14 and under) on Girl Scout Night Sunday, Jan. 23 and 3,000 trading cards (set one) on Boy Scout Night Saturday, Jan. 29.

February is "Leisure/Hobby Month" and includes the second set of 3,000 trading cards Friday, Feb. 4; 3,000 car flags Saturday, Feb. 5; 3,000 rally towels on Friday, Feb. 18 and 3,000 luggage tags on Saturday, Feb. 19.

March is "Spring Celebration Month". Highlights include 3,000 CD holders Friday, March 4 and 3,000 bandanas Saturday, March 12. Plus, there will be a surprise premium item toward the end of the month.

Finally, the Aeros will cap off the regular season with April, "Fan Appreciation Month". The team will give away 3,000 Aeros baseballs to correspond with the opening of baseball season Saturday, April 2; 3,000 Bobblehead Dolls Friday, April 15 and 4,000 ceremonial Closing Night Pucks Sunday, April 17 .
