IN THE COMMUNITY

The Admirals recently auctioned off a number of autographed hockey items, including signed hockey sticks, blades and jerseys, to help the Blue and Gold's own Dmitri Tolkunov support the family of his long-time mentor and coach Konstantin Gavrilov. Thanks to fans' generosity, nearly $3,000 was raised for this cause.

ESPN Radio 1310 Remote: Saturday, June 14 at the Chesapeake Square Mall Super Wal-Mart. As Tony Mercurio broadcasts live, the Admirals will have a table with the Frank Mathers Trophy on display, plus the chance to register to win a special prize from the South Division Champions from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Chamber of Commerce Beach Bash: Wednesday, June 18 at Fort Story in Virginia Beach. Admirals staff members will attend this event from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
