2002-03 SEASON TICKET DRIVE Angels on the Ice: Freda Distributors of Virginia Beach has become the latest Admirals Angel by donating two season tickets to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Eastern Virginia. Through the Admirals Angels Program, individuals or businesses purchase season tickets and donate them to the arts, cultural society or charitable cause of their choosing. There's no minimum number of season tickets required to participate in this program. IN THE COMMUNITY
Bruce Rader/St. Jude Golf Tournament and Auction: May 30 at 7:00 a.m. at Honey Bee Golf Course in Virginia Beach, and May 31 at 5:00 p.m. at the NorVa in Norfolk. In addition to the Admirals' Al MacIsaac and Trent Yawney participating in the tournament, the Admirals are donating a pair of season tickets to be auctioned off in support of the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Health and Fitness Expo '02: June 1-2. Admirals' mascots Salty and Hat Trick will appear at the Health and Fitness Expo in Williamsburg.
Norfolk Harborfest: June 7-9 13th Annual SunCom Bayou Boogaloo and Cajun Fest: June 21-23 The Admirals staff will be set up in the City of Norfolk's tent, and Salty and Hat Trick will be roaming about at both festivals at Town Point Park in downtown Norfolk. At Harborfest, meet with the staff June 7 and June 8 from 12:00 to 11:00 p.m. and June 9 from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. At the Bayou Boogaloo, meet the staff June 21 from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m., June 22 from 2:00 to 10:00 p.m. and June 23 from 12:00 to 8:00 p.m. Salty and Hat Trick will appear at Harborfest all three days from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. and at the Bayou Boogaloo on June 22 and 23 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce "Beach Bash": June 12. Admirals staff members will attend the Bash from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Fort Story in Virginia Beach.
Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours: June 13. Members of the Admirals staff will attend this night out with the Peninsula Pilots baseball team at War Memorial Stadium in Hampton.
Relay for Life: June 14-15 at Chesapeake Jubilee Park. Hat Trick will be on hand to cheer on the participants in this special race to raise money for cancer research.
