Norfolk Admirals News Release

NORFOLK - The Norfolk Admirals today announced that there will be a Fan Fest at Norfolk Scope Arena on Saturday, August 25 from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

The Fan Fest will allow fans to choose their season ticket seats while also building excitement for the start of the nineteenth season of Admirals hockey. There will be music, food, games, prizes, clowns, magicians, a shooting net and much more.

"I think this is a great opportunity for those fans that are wavering on buying season tickets to come out and see what a first-class organization the Admirals are," said Admirals Vice President Mark Bernard. "Fans will get the opportunity to pick their season ticket seats first-hand and to try the many different promotions that we offer throughout the season. This is another of the recent fresh ideas we have had to try to regenerate the excitement and interest that the Admirals had in the early 1990s."

Admission is free and open to the public. However, fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items that will be donated to local food banks.

Season tickets, twenty-game plans, ten-packs and group tickets for the 2007-08 season are on sale now through the Admirals' office and through the Admirals' website.
