Vallejo Admirals News Release
The Vallejo Admirals open a four-game homestand tonight when the Napa Silverados come to Wilson Park. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m.
Vallejo is in a stretch of 16 games at home out of 21. So you have plenty of opportunities to come out to the yard and catch some exciting Pacific Association baseball.
The homestand continues on Thursday and Friday with a two-game series against the first place Sonoma Stompers. Both those games are scheduled for 6:35.
On Saturday, the homestand concludes with a visit from the San Rafael Pacifics at 5:05.
Thursday, the Admirals will be honoring the Vallejo Times Herald Athletes of the Year at Wilson Park. The Times Herald is choosing the top high school boy and girl athlete in the area for the just-completed school year. Come out and celebrate these high-achieving athletes!

The Vallejo Admirals bats are warming up with the weather. The Admirals have scored 71 runs in their past nine games with Tillman Pugh leading the way.
Pugh, the 2017 Pacific Association Most Valuable Player out of De La Salle High School-Concord, returned from the Inactive List on June 27 at Sonoma. Since then, he is hitting .387 with two home runs and six RBI.
Also heating up is 2018 Pacific Association Home Run King Nick Akins Sr. Akins has five home runs in his last seven games and now has seven on the year, ranking fifth in the league. Akins his a club-record 29 home runs in 2018.
