
Admirals Games to Air on STAR 1310-AM

NORFOLK, Va. - The Norfolk Admirals announced today that all 2009-10 regular season and playoff games will air on the new STAR 1310-AM. The team also announced that the Admirals Hour Talk Show will air on the new ESPN Radio 94.1-FM on Thursday evenings at 6:00 p.m. once the regular season begins.
Last week, Max Media Radio, LLC, announced that its ESPN Radio would switch from 1310-AM to 94.1-FM. Concurrently, STAR Radio would switch from 94.1-FM to 1310-AM.
Max Media Radio, LLC, has broadcast all Admirals games since the 2007-08 season. The team and radio station signed a five-year agreement prior to that season.
Single game tickets for all Admirals regular season home games are now on sale. Tickets are also currently on sale for the exhibition game pitting the Admirals against their NHL parent club, the Tampa Bay Lightning, at Scope on Friday, September 25. All Admirals tickets are available through the Scope Box Office, all Ticketmaster Outlets, charge-by-phone at 1-800-745-3000 and online at ticketmaster.com.
