
Admirals And Norfolk Department Of Public Health Team Up To Provide H1N1 Vaccinations

NORFOLK, Va. - The Norfolk Admirals and the Norfolk Department of Public Health are teaming up to offer Admirals fans a free H1N1 vaccination at the Admirals game against the Albany River Rats on Friday, March 5.
The Norfolk Department of Public Health will administer the free vaccinations for all fans on the Scope concourse during the game. There are no requirements to receive the vaccination. Both a shot and a nasal spray are available. Children under age 18 must have parental consent to receive the vaccination.
The Norfolk Department of Public Health has administered more than 29,000 vaccinations since the inception of the H1N1 vaccination program.
The Admirals will begin a five-game road trip tomorrow night in Binghamton against the Senators. The puck drops at 7:15 p.m.
The Admirals will return to Scope on Friday and Saturday, March 5 and 6, for a pair of pivotal East Division matchups against the Albany River Rats. After getting your H1N1 vaccination on March 5, join us on March 6 for American Cancer Society Relay For Life Night. Special discounted fundraising tickets are available with proceeds going back to the American Cancer Society.
