Aces Announce 2008 Promotional Plans

Alexandria, LA; May 1, 2008 - The Alexandria Aces of United League Baseball (ULB) announced today their marketing plans for the 2008 season. The Aces will open at home with a six game homestand beginning on Tuesday, May 13th against the Harlingen WhiteWings.

Monday through Sunday games will feature different corporate sponsors that will provide specials on admission, beverages and concessions.

Weekly promotional themes are as follows:

Monday: Daiquiri Zone/Q93 Margarita Mondays - Ladies Night with 2-for-1 admission and specials on frozen beverages

Tuesday: KZMZ Two 'fer Tuesday - Guys Night Out with 2-for-1 admission and specials on 10oz canned beer

Thursday: Toyota Tundra & Q93 Thirsty Thursday/Budweiser & Q93 Party on the Patio/Shirt Off Our Back

Friday/Saturday: Super Sonic Drive-In Weekends/Kids Run the Bases/ Giveaways/Special Events

Sunday: Wendy's/KSYL/KDBS Best Family Deal Ever/Bark at the Park

Opening week's promotional activities have been set. Leading off on Tuesday, May 13th will be Domino's Pizza Magnet Schedule giveaway. Wednesday's game has been moved from a 10:35 a.m. start to 7:05 p.m. and will be Wal-Mart Night.

On Thursday the Aces will open up the picnic area at 5pm with Budweiser & Q93 Party on the Patio, where fans will receive discounted admission and specials on select Budweiser products. It's also Toyota Tundra Thirsty Thursday with specials on canned beer and 8oz. soft drinks during the game. Fans will also have a chance to win a Louisiana Sports Medicine Center shirt off the back of their favorite player.

Friday night's activities include M&M Dodge Seat Cushion giveaway, kids run the bases and if the Aces score 10 or more runs fans will receive free food from Sonic Drive-In. Saturday night the first 500 children through the front gate will receive a free duffle bag courtesy of CHRISTUS ST. FRANCES CABRINI and fans will also be able to see the Aces receive their 2007 United League Championship rings in a special pre-game ceremony.

All Sunday games will feature the Wendy's, KSYL & KDBS "Best Family Deal Ever" which includes one general admission ticket, hot dog, bag of chips, and soft drink for $5.00 per person.

Sunday through Tuesday games will feature the "Raising Canes Challenge". If the Aces score three or more runs in any of those games, fans will receive specials on food at Raising Canes.

This season CHRISTUS ST. FRANCES CABRINI will sponsor a Kid's Day at Bringhurst Field; Wednesday, June 25th will be "The Big Splash" where the Aces will have inflatable water slides and slip-n-slides for the kid's amusement.

Domino's Pizza and UTLX Field of Dreams parties are back again this season. Sign up your youth league team to take the field with the Aces for the singing of the National Anthem and enjoy Domino's Pizza on the Field of Dreams Deck down the first base line.

Eddies BBQ joins the line-up this year at the ballpark as the caterer of picnics. Picnic packages start as low as $12.00 per person. Birthday Party packages are also available featuring Domino's Pizza.

New this season at Bringhurst Field is the "Chick-fil-A Chicken Coop Group Deck" located on the 4th tier of the first base decks. Groups of up to 25 persons can reserve the deck for the entire night for only $200. Each person receives admission to the game, Chick-fil-A meal with dessert, a soft drink and a souvenir game program.
