Ahead of the highly anticipated competition, our Academy's U-15 and U-17 boys had a special send off with Academy First Team products Noah Allen, Benjamin Cremaschi, Ian Fray, Tyler Hall and David Ruiz, to motivate them ahead of one of the most important competitions of the season. Notably, First Team Homegrown players Allen, Israel Boatwright, Cremaschi, Hall and Santiago Morales competed at the Generation adidas Cup during their Academy days.
"We've all been there. So, we want to wish you guys luck and hope that you guys do well," said current First Team midfielder and former Academy standout Cremaschi.
"Play with confidence. That's the most important thing that's going to help you guys get far into the tournament, that and playing as a family are the most important things," added First Team defender and former Academy star Hall.
Additionally, co-owner David Beckham, made an appearance after training to wish the teams the best of luck at the competition.
"I know you're heading out to the Generation adidas Cup... I was lucky in my career that I won most trophies - the European Cup, the Premier League, LaLiga - and the one trophy that I loved winning more than anything was the FA Youth Cup," said Beckham. "Enjoy it, win, play hard and just have fun."
