ORLANDO, Fla. (Feb. 10) -- The Titans Academy of Lacrosse, in conjunction with the Orlando Titans organization, will present a one-hour youth clinic at Amway Arena on Saturday, Feb. 20.

The clinic, for all youth players from third to eighth grade, will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. on the Orlando Titans playing field inside Amway Arena. The clinic will focus on shooting, passing and defensive drills and will be taught by Orlando Titans players Casey Powell and Pat Maddalena.

Considered one of the greatest lacrosse players ever, Powell is team captain of the Titans and currently leads the National Lacrosse League in goals per game average. An 11-year NLL veteran, Maddalena recently became just the 13th player in league history to score 300 career goals.

Participants should come dressed to play and will need to bring their own helmet, stick and gloves to participate. Cost of the clinic is just $30 and includes a free ticket to that night's NLL game between the Titans and the Boston Blazers. Additional family tickets for the game are available for just $15 if purchased at time of clinic registration.

To register, call the Orlando Titans office at 407-601-6516. Orders are also being accepted by mail at 7901 Kingspointe Parkway, Suite 9, Orlando, FL 32819 (check or money order made out to Orlando Titans).
