ABA Salute introduces new pin
December 1, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release
Indianapolis, IN. ABA Salute, the division of the ABA that pays tribute to the U.S. Military through various fund-raising activities, today announced that a new soft enamel pin has been created and is now available for the public. According to Jennifer Hester, ABA Salute Coordinator, "The response to the ABA Salute program has been tremendous. We are very excited. The creation of the ABA Salute pin came from many requests from people who wanted something other than apparel so that they could wear the Salute pin with pride on their clothing or hats. Evidently, from the number of requests, pins are very popular and we are pleased to oblige."
The 1" x 3/4" pins will be available very soon and can be ordered now. The price is $4.95 plus shipping and handling. Proceeds from the sale of ABA Salute merchandise go to benefit our military and their families for scholarships and other worthy causes. For more information, visit www.abasalute.com or www.abalive.com. For now, to order, send an email to jennifer@abasalute.com and she will respond to you with details or to dsagroup@hotmail.com for response.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
