ABA live talk moves to Saturday at 3pm
September 9, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release
Los Angeles, CA. Derrick Pearson, host of the weekly ABA LIVE TALK show, announces that the one-hour weekly program will be aired live Saturdays at 3pm EST moving from its Friday time. Pearson states, "This allows the professionals that do not have access to the web or to our programming during a weekday afternoon to be able to listen live on weekends." The show will continue to archive its shows for later listening at www.abalive.com.
The move to Saturday will also make the shows during the regular season far more involved and interactive since Pearson will be in ABA arenas with players, coaches and fans. This should allow for more in-depth interviews and provide more information direct from those in the ABA. For more information about ABA LIVE TALK, visit www.abalive.com or email the show at joenewman@abalive.com or abalivetalk@aol.com.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams. For information on professional minor leagues, please see OSC's basketball section.
