
Aaron Sorochan named ADT Canadian Hockey League Goalie of the Week

Toronto - The Canadian Hockey League today announced that Aaron Sorochan of the Lethbridge Hurricanes is the ADT CHL Goaltender of the Week for the week ending Sunday November 21 after posting two wins, including a shutout, and a 0.50 goals against average and .979 save percentage in two starts last week.
Sorochan, a 20-year-old native of Edmonton, Alberta, turned aside all 31 shots he faced in a 4-0 win over the Regina Pats on November 19 for his second shutout of the season. The next day, he gave up one goal on 18 shots in a 2-1 win over the Swift Current Broncos.
Sorochan improved his season record to 8-6-3 with a 2.14 goals against average and .914 save percentage in 20 games.
Each week during the regular season, the CHL will recognize the ADT CHL Goaltender of the Week and will present the ADT CHL Goaltender of the Year Award to the CHL's top netminder at the conclusion of the 2004-05 season.
