June 4, 2005 - Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) News Release
CHICOUTIMI, Saturday, June 4th, 2005 (QMJHL) â A number of trades were concluded today in Chicoutimi, at the Georges-Vézina Center, where the QMJHL's Entry Draft was held.
The Lewiston MAINEiacs traded Alex Bourret to the Shawinigan Cataractes. In return, Shawinigan sent their first round selection, 12th overall, to Lewiston.
Also, in a spectacular three-team deal, goaltender Bobby Nadeau was sent to Drummondville, Henrick Lavoie to Val D'Or, and thus, this enabled the Quebec Remparts to select Angelo Esposito with the 11th overall pick. Esposito was rated as the top 2005 prospect. Picks from the 2006 were also involved.
More details will be available at www.lhjmq.qc.ca following the conclusion of the Entry Draft.
