
\'Replace the Axeman' Voting Begins Today

Syracuse, NY (September 15, 2005) - The Syracuse Crunch, along with SportsRadio620WHEN, announced today that voting for the âReplace the Axeman' contest has begun on both www.syracusecrunch.com and sportsradio620.com. The âReplace the Axeman' contest will determine who will replace Brent Axe as the Crunch's 2005-06 public address announcer.
Audio clips of the finalists can be heard on sportsradio620.com. There fans can vote for one of the finalists to replace Brent Axe as the Crunch's 2005-06 public address announcer. The two (2) contestants with the most votes will win an audition to read the public address at one (1) Crunch preseason game.
Tickets to all preseason and regular season games can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473-4444, at the Oncenter Box Office, located on the State Street side of the War Memorial at Oncenter or by calling TicketMaster at (315) 472-0700.
