EL SEGUNDO - The Los Angeles D-Fenders have acquired forward Alfred Aboya, it was announced today by General Manager Nick Mazzella. In a related move, the D-Fenders have waived center Ater Majok due to a season-ending MCL sprain to his left knee.
Aboya has played in 20 games this season for the D-Fenders, averaging 3.9 points and 3.1 rebounds in 16.4 minutes.
Ranking third in the NBA D-League in blocks per game at 2.8, Majok averaged 5.7 points and 5.3 rebounds in 22.1 minutes per game.
