
Brewers '08 Top Pick Promoted to Huntsville

Huntsville Stars News Release
The Milwaukee Brewers and the Huntsville Stars announced today that INF Brett Lawrie has been promoted to Huntsville from Wisconsin. Lawrie, the Brewers first-round pick in the 2008 MLB First-Year Player Draft was ranked by Baseball America as the Brewers third-best prospect and Best Power Hitting Prospect entering this season.
Also, RHP Brandon Kintzler was assigned to Helena.
Both moves are effective immedeatley and Lawrie will be in uniform tonight against the West Tenn D'Jaxx.
