
700-Person U.S. Naturalization Ceremony at Saturday's Lights FC Match

(Las Vegas, NV) - In conjunction with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Las Vegas Lights FC professional soccer club will feature an incredibly unique on-field ceremony at halftime of its home match on Saturday (August 20th vs. Sacramento; kick-off 7:30pm).
Specifically, approximately 700 candidates will participate in an official naturalization ceremony to be sworn-in as new U.S. citizens. This will be one of the largest ceremonies held in Clark County in recent memory and will be led by U.S. Federal Judge Andew Gordon. In addition, multiple elected officials are scheduled to attend & participate in the swearing-in ceremony.
The citizenship candidates originate from 84 countries: Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Armenia, Australia, Belarus, Belgium, Belize, Brazil, Bulgaria, Burma, Cambodia, Cameroon, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Congo (Kinshasa), Costa Rica, Côte d'Ivoire, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Eritrea, Ethiopia, France, Georgia, Germany, Ghana, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Italy, Jamaica, Kenya, South Korea, Laos, Latvia, Lebanon, Libya, Mexico, Moldova, Morocco, Netherlands Antilles, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Nigeria, North Macedonia, Pakistan, Panama, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Romania, Russia, Senegal, Serbia, Sierra Leone, Slovakia, Somalia, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Switzerland, Syria, Taiwan, Thailand, Togo, Turkey, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, Uruguay, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Vietnam and Zambia.
The citizen candidates live in Boulder City, Dyer, Henderson, Las Vegas, Laughlin, North Las Vegas, Overton and Pahrump.
