66ers Receive 11th Pick in 2013 NBA D-League Draft

TULSA, Okla., October 24, 2013 - The NBA Development League announced today that the Tulsa 66ers will receive the 11th overall pick in the 2013 NBA D-League Draft, set to take place via Cisco WebEx Meeting Center from the league's New York headquarters on Nov. 1 at 6 p.m. CT.
Tulsa will have the opportunity to make up to 10 selections in the 2013 Draft. In addition to selecting the 11th pick of all eight rounds, the 66ers will also have the sixth pick of the third round (from Los Angeles) and the 14th pick of the fourth round (from Canton), which they acquired through separate trades during the 2012-13 season.
The first eight picks in the 2013 NBA D-League Draft were awarded to teams who did not qualify for the 2013 NBA D-League playoffs, in reverse order of their regular season records. The Delaware 87ers, making their NBA D-League debut for the 2013-14 season, will select ninth. The subsequent eight picks in the will go to those teams who did qualify for the 2013 NBA D-League playoffs, also in reverse order of regular season record.
The 66ers entered last year's postseason tied for the league's fifth-best record before making their third NBA D-League Semifinals appearance in the past four seasons.
Each of the NBA D-League's 17 teams will be given one pick in each of the eight rounds. No trades will be permitted during the draft and only players signed to an NBA Development League Standard Player Contract are eligible to be selected.
