
66ers Close out Regular Season with Weekend Back-To-Back

TULSA, Okla., March 31, 2011- The Tulsa 66ers (31-17) will finish off the 2010-11 regular season this weekend with back-to-back home games against the Dakota Wizards (18-29) on Friday and Saturday, April 1-2, inside the Tulsa Convention Center. Both games are scheduled to tip at 7 p.m.
The weekend games can be viewed online for free via webcast at nba.com/futurecast and can be heard in Tulsa on KAKC 1300 AM.
Tulsa, who has already clinched a berth in the 2011 D-League playoffs, is coming off a 100-94 home defeat against Rio Grande Valley on Saturday.
Dakota recently split a home series with the Utah Flash, winning the first game on Sunday, 108-105, and dropping the second contest Monday by a 124-115 final.
The 66ers beat the Wizards 96-92 in the only previous meeting between the two teams this season on Jan. 12 at the D-League Showcase in South Padre Island, Texas. Tulsa holds a 7-5 edge all-time against Dakota.
Both games will feature special ticket packages for fans that include a lower-level seat, hot dog and soda for just $10.
The Jenks Cheer and Pom Squads will perform on Friday night, while the American Diabetes Assoc. Dribble to Stop Diabetes will be the featured non-profit on Saturday.
