
5th Round Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Pairings Announced

San Antonio, TX (June 3, 2014) - U.S. Soccer announced the potential Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup round five pairings this afternoon from their offices in Chicago. The Scorpions learned that they will once again be on the road if they manage to get past FC Dallas in the fourth round on June 17th. When the fifth round commences June 24-25, the winner of the San Antonio-Dallas match will play at the winner of the Houston Dynamo-Laredo Heat match.
The San Antonio Scorpions' next home match - and last match of the 2014 NASL Spring Season - will be on June 7th at 7:30pm against the Ft. Lauderdale Strikers.
San Antonio will host three major international friendlies this summer at Toyota Field. On June 21st at 7:30pm, they will face Tigres de la UANL. June 28th at 7:30pm, the Scorpions play the Mexican National Team Under-21 squad and then on July 6th at 6:00pm, the Scorpions will take on Club de Fútbol Monterrey.
