41 Razorback Greats To Appear At "Salute The Razorbacks Night"

41 former Razorback football and basketball greats, including Clyde Scott and Scotty Thurman, will be on hand as the Twisters host the Bossier City Battle Wings on "Salute The Razorbacks Night," this Friday, April 25th. Clyde Scott, a 3-time All-American who starred for the Razorbacks from 1946-48, headlines the list and will serve as honorary captain. Among the basketball greats will be Scotty Thurman, who hit the game-winning shot in the 1994 NCAA National Championship Game against Duke.
The list of Hog football stars appearing is as follows: Tim Adams (1976-78), Mike Burchfield (1977-79), Dr. Bo Busby (1973-76), Ron Calcagni (1975-79), Mark Calcagni (1984-85), Charles Clay (1975-78), Jerry Eckwood (1975-78), Marcus Elliott (1982-84), Milton Fields (1980-83), Michael Forrest (1975-78), Jeff Goff (1978-81), Muskie Harris (1973-76), Bruce Hay (1976-78), Steve Heim (1975-77), Harold Horton (1960-61), Raymond House (1999-2003), Bruce LaHay (1978-81), Oscar Malone (1992-96), Mike Massey (1976-79), Mark Miller (1973-75), Alfred Mohammed (1978-82), Billy Moore (1960-62), Jim Mooty (1957-59), Dickey Morton (1971-73), Gerald Nesbit (1955-57). Richard Richardson (1979-82), James Rouse (1985-89), Kevin Scanlon (1978-79), Jim Schoolcraft (1982-83), Clyde Scott (1946-48), Gerald Skinner (1973-76), Jerry Sullivan (1977-78), Kenny Turner (former assistant coach), Barry Thomas (1982-83), Orson Weems (1981-83), and Bert Zinamon (1980-83). In addition, four Razorback basketball greats will be there as well, including Scotty Thurman (1992-95), Ron Brewer (1975-78), Marvin Delph (1974-78), and Ernie Murray (1974-78).
All of the former players listed above will participate in a special autograph session at the game. Plus, any fan wearing Razorback memorabilia to the game will receive $2 off their ticket! Kickoff is set for 7:35 at the Alltel Arena. For more information, call 501-975-5425.
