NEW ORLEANS (May 9, 2012) - Earlier this week, we sat down with New Orleans VooDoo Doll Daina for this week's "21 Questions with a VooDoo Doll" segment brought to you by Arata and Arata Law Offices. Daina is a rookie on this year's team. Each and every game week, a VooDoo Doll will be featured, and this is the eighth installment of the 2012 season.
One word to describe yourself and why:
Humbled, it's what comes after being divorced and going through the change of being single.
If you were stranded on an island in the middle of the ocean, what 3 things could you not live without:
Chap stick, lotion and food.
What is you all-time goal in life:
To Be a successful mom and good person.
Who is the person who has influenced you the most in your life and why:
My mom, she raised my sister and me as a single parent and made sure we had our dancing classes and went to dance competitions.
What advice would you give to young girls:
Stay in school and don't try to grow up too fast. You have the rest of your life to be an adult. Enjoy childhood.
If you could be one super hero who would it be and why:
Wonder woman! She is beautiful, strong and good hearted.
Outside of VooDoo games/appearances what is your occupation:
Dance Teacher/choreographer.
If you could have one super power, what would it be and why:
To see the future that way I know what to expect.
If you could hang out with any Kardashian, who would it be and why:
Courtney because she seem down to earth and is a mother like me.
Heels, wedges, or flats and why:
Heels, of course, because they make my legs look so sexy and fit.
Favorite female celebrity and why:
Jennifer Anniston she gets cute boyfriends, she is rich, and has an exciting life.
Best sibling warfare story:
My sister and I had a fight with peanut butter and it was on my eyelids and I couldn't open my eyes.
Worst pickup line you have ever heard:
I must be in heaven because you look like an angel.
In general, if there was one thing that you would want to improve on this year, what would it be:
To try to be more positive and strive to be the best mother I can be.
What top 5 things would be on your bucket list:
See Hawaii, Skydive, Hit the Lottery, Snow Ski, and Snorkel.
What is your ideal first date:
A picnic in the park on a sunny day with a light breeze would be perfect.
What is your most embarrassing moment during your dance career:
I had a wardrobe malfunction when my mom put my trunks on backwards. It is funny now; not at the time, but funny now.
Favorite Real Housewives series and why:
Jersey, I like their personalities and they show the family life of the housewives.
One quirky fact about you that not everyone knows:
I am a little dingy when it comes to getting jokes.

Roast Beef at Mo's Pizza.
