2023-24 Regular Season Schedule Announced

MUSKEGON, MI - Wednesday afternoon the United States Hockey League office announced the regular season schedule for all 16 member organizations. The new season kicks off on September 29th and features the return of interconference play for the first time since the 2019-2020 season.

The Lumberjacks open the new campaign with a Friday morning matchup against the USNTDP Under-18 team at home on September 29th. The game will be the Jack's annual Kids Day Game with students from Muskegon area schools in attendance. The following night the Jacks hit the road for the first away game of the season against the Chicago Steel.

This year's annual Flannel Fest will take place on Saturday, October 7th when the Steel come to Trinity Health Arena. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:10 pm. More information on Flannel Fest will be released closer to the event.

For the first time since the 2019-2020 season, the Lumberjacks will play interconference games outside of the Dick's Sporting Goods Fall Classic. A total of 14 games this season will be played against teams from the Western Conference starting with a trip to Des Moines on November 3rd, and Waterloo on the 4th. The Fargo Force will be the first Western Conference team to visit Trinity Health Arena when they come to town for a two-game set on January 12th and 13th.

Another highlight on the Lumberjack's schedule is the first-ever appearance in the American Cup in Rochester, NY. On November 30th, and December 1st Muskegon and Youngstown will play against each other at the Regional IcePlex. The event coincides with the USHL American Cup Youth Tournament.

There will be one pre-season game at Trinity Health Arena on September 16th against the Chicago Steel. Season ticket holders will receive free admission to the game.

Information regarding the USHL's Fall Classic will be available at a later date.
