2019-20 Ticket Refund Policy
Brandon, MB, - The Western Hockey League recently cancelled the balance of the 2019-20 regular season, playoffs and the Memorial Cup. Due to the fact that included the loss of four regular season home games, the Brandon Wheat Kings have unveiled the following ticket refund policy.
The Wheat Kings appreciate the generosity and support of many season ticket holders who have expressed a desire to donate the value of the final four tickets back to the hockey club during these trying times. If you wish to donate, please email us at [email protected]
However, we also understand this is a difficult time and for that reason the Wheat Kings are pleased to offer our season ticket holders two additional options to consider.
Option #1 - Your unused tickets from the March 13th, 14th, 18th and 21st games can be exchanged at the Wheat Kings' office in September for a ticket voucher to any 2020-21 regular season home game.
Option #2 - The value of your unused tickets (March 13th, 14th, 18th and 21st) will be applied as credit when you purchase your 2020-21 season tickets. This can be done when renewing this summer - or in the case of those that have already renewed - you credit card will be refunded that amount automatically.
In addition to our season ticket holders, the recent cancellation of games impacted a number of fans and in order to better explain our ticket refund / credit policy, see the following list of FAQ's.
Q - I purchased a ticket for one of the final regular season home games at the Keystone Centre Box Office. Will I get a refund?
A - Tickets can be turned back into the box office for a refund of the full face value of the ticket. However, the Keystone Centre Box Office is currently closed due to the current situation so there will NOT be a deadline for single game ticket refunds. Most will have already been processed by the Keystone box office.
Q - What if I purchased tickets over the phone or online at www.keystonecentre.com?
A - Refunds / Credits will be issued - if they haven't already - to those that either called in or ordered tickets online. Visit the Keystone Centre's website for more details.
Q - What happens if I purchased group tickets?
A - Your group will be contacted directly by the hockey club in order to satisfy your group moving forward. In most cases, these have been done.
Q - What happens if I have unused exchange coupon vouchers?
A - Those with flex pack vouchers will have the opportunity to redeem at the Wheat Kings' office in September for new vouchers, to be used for the 2020-21 season.
Q - I am a Suite holder - what happens in light of the cancellation of four games?
A - You will be given credit for two pre-season and two regular season games in 2020-21.
As COVID-19 continues to impact us, the Wheat Kings are taking every precaution to safeguard the health of our team, staff and fans. Therefore, our office at the Keystone Centre remains closed. However, we will be working remotely in preparation for resumption of play.
If you have any additional questions, feel free to email us at [email protected] or leave a message at (204) 726-3535. More information can also be found on the club's official website at www.wheatkings.com.
